Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Acts 10: 9-23

God of grace and love, at times we fail to see you working in and around us. Open our eyes so we can see you in others, so we can share the good news of Jesus Christ in ways that bring life, and also draw people to you. Bring to mind those who are far from you so we can live as an example of your love and grace for them. Allow us to hear your voice so that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we may boldly proclaim Christ to others. We lift this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We pray that the guiding of the Holy Spirit leads us to live the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Allow that fruit to remind us that we live our lives in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
