Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Galatians 3:15-22

Covenantal and promising God, we thank you for what you have established through Abraham. That promise continues to build our faith in Jesus Christ and is passed on to those who believe. Through that faith in Christ, guide us to share your love and fulfill the promises passed on from Abraham so that all people may come to know the love and grace of Jesus Christ through us. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

While it may be easy to pass judgment on others, may your grace enable us to do good so we may live in the honor and peace of Jesus Christ, who, with you and the Holy Spirit, is worshiped and glorified. Bring to mind those who are far from you so we can live as an example of your love and grace for them. Allow us to hear your voice so that, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we may boldly proclaim Christ to others. We lift this prayer in Jesus’ name. Amen.
