Our prayer for today is a prayer based on Acts 22: 30-23: 11

God of truth and love, we know that there will be a time when we need to make an account of our faith in Jesus Christ as Paul did. Help us to clearly explain the work you have done in and through us, so that our lives may be a testimony to the one who changes us, Jesus Christ our Lord, who, with you and the Holy Spirit, is worshiped and glorified for ever and ever. Amen.

Let us look at our brothers and sisters in a way that acknowledges Jesus as Lord of all, and that our witness to him supersedes our personal preferences. We lift this prayer in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
